Main Responsibilities

Conduct Eco Tours:

• Lead guided Island tours as per defined standard procedures.
• Educate guests about the importance of conservation and sustainable practices.

Safety:

• Ensure the well-being and safety of visitors during the tour.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

Customer Interaction:

• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer questions and provide additional information to enhance the guest experience.

Maintenance and Inspections:

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Report any issues promptly and ensure all equipment is in working order.

Requirements

• Minimum of School Certificate (SC) or proven experience in a similar field.
• Residing in Grand Port Savanne District will be preferred.
• A car and/or Motorbike licence will be an advantage.
• Conversant in French and English.
• Consistently courteous, approachable, and friendly personality.
• Be physically fit and willing to work in an often hot and wet environment.
• Be passionate about the protection of the environment.
• Be a quick learner.
• Be flexible with working at odd hours when required.

Pointe Jerome Booking Desk, Ile aux Aigrettes.
