Aufgaben

Your future role

1. Build and implement state-of-the-art frontend and mobile features by writing accessible, performant, maintainable, and well-tested code following the clean code principles.
2. Develop, test, and review code. Take part in the software design and architecture decisions.
3. Implement modules to connect to wearable sensors via Bluetooth Low Energy.
4. Implement modules to connect to the sensors built in mobile phones, smart watches, and other wearables via SDKs.
5. Extend our existing Wear OS companion app, written in Kotlin.
6. Use your UI expertise to implement digital health products and prototypes.
7. Collaborate closely with UX Design, Backend Engineering, QA, and Product Management.

Anforderungen

What you need to succeed

1. You’re ready for a challenging position with the opportunity to learn and to contribute with your 2+ years experience as a frontend engineer.
2. University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or in a related field
3. Experience with mobile app development on Android and optionally on iOS.
4. Hands-on working experience with cross-platform app development using React Native.
5. Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
6. Strong focus on performance, semantic markup, accessibility, and security.
7. Your written and spoken English is fluent, knowledge of German is a plus
