A fast-growing healthtech startup in Berlin is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its product engineering team.

The company is building digital solutions that help healthcare professionals reduce administrative workload through intelligent software and automation. The product combines modern web technologies with AI-driven workflows in a highly regulated environment, with a strong focus on usability, security, and data privacy.

You will work across the full product stack and play a key role in shaping product functionality, architecture, and technical direction. The team is looking for someone who is comfortable operating independently, making sound technical decisions, and building high-quality features in a fast-moving environment.

• Own features from concept through to deployment across frontend and backend

• Design and implement scalable product functionality with a strong focus on performance and maintainability

• Build and improve real-time product capabilities

• Integrate external intelligent services and APIs into user-facing workflows

• Collaborate on architecture decisions and technical direction

• Deliver production-ready solutions in a fast-paced product environment

• Maintain high standards around code quality, testing, and documentation

• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to create intuitive and reliable user experiences

• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering

• Strong experience with TypeScript and modern full stack development

• Very good knowledge of React

• Strong understanding of component architecture, hooks, state management, and frontend performance optimisation

• Experience building and maintaining modern web applications with a focus on speed, usability, and clean code

• Experience working with browser storage technologies and client-side application state

• Strong understanding of debugging, troubleshooting, and performance analysis

• Advanced experience with Git, code reviews, and development best practices

• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions with confidence

• Experience collaborating effectively in product-focused engineering teams

Desktop / product engineering experience

• Experience building desktop applications with Electron

• Good understanding of main/renderer architecture

• Experience with native OS integrations

• Familiarity with update mechanisms and desktop security best practices
