Job description
- You will be responsible for basic purchasing tasks including receiving requirements, requesting quotations and order processing
- You will also be responsible for entering and checking orders within the framework of our purchasing guidelines, requesting quotations, order confirmations and order processing
- You will be responsible for communicating with those who generate requirements and other stakeholders
- The digital ordering and approval processes (PR/PO), master data maintenance and support in reporting (spend and vendor analyses) fall within your remit
- You will provide support in needs analysis, market and supplier research for hardware and software as well as other topics required by the institute and in the negotiation of framework and service contracts (including hardware, office equipment, office supplies). including hardware, office equipment, cloud, SaaS and campus licences).
- You will take care of the inventory, optimisation and compliance check for licence agreements
- You will be responsible for participating in process digitisation projects (e-procurement, electronic invoice verification)
Requirements
- You have completed training as an office administrator (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, you have professional experience in purchasing, ideally in dealing with SAP/R3
- You are confident in using MS Office
- Good written and spoken German and English skills characterise you
- Reliability, team spirit and strong negotiation and communication skills speak in your favour
- Your analytical thinking, structured way of working and a high level of initiative round off your profile
