The team
The Business Solutions department comprises the Application & Master Data, Enterprise Application Integration, and Business Intelligence teams. Together, we tackle challenges, develop solutions, and actively shape the future of BORA. Our focus is on the strategic and operational development of business-relevant systems, data, and processes. As an internal service provider, we are responsible for the design and implementation of complex projects.
Your tasks
- Conceptualization, setup, and continuous optimization of system and data integrations between different internal and external data sources – using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Integration Services (e.g., Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus), and other middleware technologies
- Development and automation of seamless, scalable data processes for the efficient transfer and orchestration of information across different systems, platforms, and interfaces.
- Design and maintenance of robust, integrated data models and data flows in Microsoft Fabric
- Close collaboration with BI analysts and integration engineers to create a seamless, data-driven ecosystem – from the raw data source to the insight.
- Leveraging OneLake and DirectLake modes to provide cross-system data access in Power BI in near real-time
- Ensuring data quality and consistency in cross-system integration scenarios
- Conducting exploratory analyses based on integrated data landscapes for various business units of BORA.
Your profile
- Completed studies in business informatics, data science, mathematics or a comparable qualification with a strong focus on data integration
- Experience in using analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Excel, Python)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Azure Integration Services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus) and ideally also of other middleware technologies.
- Ability to integrate and utilize data from heterogeneous system landscapes (e.g., ERP, CRM, cloud and on-premises systems)
- Analytical thinking, a good understanding of system architectures, and an interest in data storytelling and data-driven decision-making.
- Teamwork skills and a desire to contribute to a dynamic, innovative data and analytics team.
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
