• Development and implementation of processes and training in the areas of data protection and compliance (including antitrust law)
• Independent and comprehensive legal advice to all business units on data protection law, e.g., in the context of the development and introduction of new products and services, outsourcing, cloud computing, big data analytics, AI, due diligence, corporate transactions, marketing campaigns, etc.
• Support in the further development of the group's data protection and compliance management System
• Ongoing analysis of relevant data protection laws, compliance requirements, and antitrust frameworks regarding their impact on the business
• Participation in the design of appropriate risk management in the area of data protection; in particular, conducting process audits of systems and applications that process personal data
• Support in internal investigations, training, and risk assessments in the areas of data protection and compliance
• Handling and responding to data protection inquiries from employees, customers, and authorities
• Consulting on antitrust issues in the context of distribution

• Successfully completed law degree (preferred) or a comparable qualification
• At least 2-3 years of work experience in data protection/compliance (ideally gained in the compliance or legal department of an international company)
• Extensive knowledge of GDPR, BDSG, Compliance (Anti-Corruption, Antitrust Law)
• Excellent business knowledge with an awareness of compliance risks in sales as well as criminal law implications
• Proficiency in using MS Office
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Teamwork skills and openness to exploring new areas
• Proficiency in German and English, additional language skills are beneficial
