Join us in this role where you’ll act as the primary HR partner for leaders across Germany, leading people processes, ensuring compliance with local legislation, and supporting the organisation through a significant period of transition and growth. You’ll work independently while partnering closely with our HR colleagues in Ireland to develop strong, people‑centred practices.
Welcome to P&C Onshore Europe
You’ll be part of P&C Onshore Europe team where you, together with your colleagues, will support leaders and employees across our German organisation, contribute to seamless HR operations, and help develop scalable processes that match our transformation into a medium‑sized company. You’ll report directly to the Senior HR Business Partner in Ireland and work closely with the local site director in Regensburg.
As a team, we care deeply about enabling our people, collaborate closely across borders, and strive to deliver solutions that are simple, supportive, and fit for purpose.
You’ll play an important role in:
- managing the full employee lifecycle for Germany, from onboarding to performance processes to offboarding
- coordinating recruitment activities , including job postings, interview scheduling, and supporting leaders with role scoping and job description development
- owning Germany‑specific HR processes and adapting group processes to local needs
- providing day‑to‑day support to people leaders and employees on HR policies, systems, and people matters
- ensuring compliance with German employment law and managing external HR vendors, such as benefits providers
- coordinating learning activities, HR systems administration, and general HR operations as the HR country owner for Germany.
To succeed in the role, you:
- demonstrate strong HR generalist capabilities across the full employee lifecycle
- show confidence working independently in change‑heavy environments, or equivalent experience
- communicate fluently in German and English
- bring solid knowledge of German employment law, or equivalent experience
- enjoy building relationships with leaders and collaborating internationally
- feel comfortable shaping processes in organisations where structures are still developing.
