Your mission & challenges

The Group’s IT department has over 20 members and provides support to more than 1,200 users. You’ll join the parent company’s IT team of 10 people, working alongside two Linux Admins, as well as collaborating closely with both the robotics and DevOps teams.

• 2nd-level support for our Ubuntu desktop fleet – from OS and hardware issues to application support and peripherals
• Development and maintenance of automated configuration management for Linux client systems (e.g., Ansible)
• Management of software deployment, package management, and patch cycles across the entire desktop fleet
• Administration of user accounts, permissions, and local policies on Linux endpoints
• Integration of desktop systems into central services (LDAP/AD, SSO, VPN, network storage)
• Maintenance and further development of standard desktop images and provisioning workflows
• Close collaboration with robotics and DevOps teams on tooling and environment requirements for engineering workstations
• Documentation of processes, creation of runbooks, and maintenance of the internal knowledge base

What we can look forward to

• At least 3 years of experience in Linux system administration
• Knowledge of relevant scripting languages, especially shell and Python
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
• Strong knowledge of Debian-based operating systems, especially Ubuntu
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken (at least B2)
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
• A team-oriented and reliable way of working
