What You’ll Bring

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong experience in purchasing/procurement (SAP knowledge is a plus)
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Proven experience in strategic purchasing and supplier negotiations
• Solid background in the automotive industry
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
• Structured, well-organized working style and proactive mindset
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities in cross-functional, multicultural teams
• Very good command of English (German is a plus)

What You’ll Do

• Act as a key member of global project teams , contributing to the successful development of new products.
• Identify, evaluate and nominate strategic suppliers aligned with project and business goals.
• Lead price and contract negotiations , ensuring competitive costs and on-time delivery.
• Represent purchasing interests within central, project and global teams.
• Take full ownership of purchasing activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Ensure timely availability of components from development phase through handover to series. production.
• Manage technical changes for components in close collaboration with engineering and suppliers.
• Monitor and achieve project and purchasing KPIs related to cost, quality and timing.
• Collaborate closely with series production teams on supplier-related topics.
• Identify critical components and suppliers, proactively managing risks and escalating issues when needed.
• Contribute to the successful achievement of project targets for quality, cost and deadlines.
