Technology Manager Wind Energy - Installation & Commissioning (m/f/d)

As Technology Manager Installation & Commissioning (m/f/d), you ensure that new wind turbine developments meet the technical requirements for installation and commissioning (I&C). You contribute your expertise to product development and support the implementation of innovative solutions for safe and efficient processes.

YOUR TASKS

• Act as technical representative for Installation & Commissioning in product development and collaborate closely with regional teams
• Consolidate all technical requirements from different internal Nordex teams (O2 team, supervision, commissioning and regions) into a clear deliverable
• Ensure technical compliance with these requirements throughout the product development process
• Provide electrical expertise during development, prototype and installation phases for new products, tools or processes
• Participate in the simultaneous engineering team meetings as key stakeholder from installation and commissioning and coordinate relevant technical contributors
• Manage prototype coordination, interior and mock-up tests on site as I&C focal point
• Analyze findings from prototypes and track implementation of technical improvements
• Develop new technical solutions to optimize installation and commissioning technologies and enable cost-reduction initiatives

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in technical development projects; site management experience is a plus
• Proficiency in CAD-PLM systems (Teamcenter, AutoCAD), MS Office, MS Project and SAP
• Structured, process- and solution-oriented working style with ability to collaborate in international teams
• Strong communication skills and fluent English, spoken and written
• Additional language skills (Spanish, Portuguese or German) are an advantage
