For the Corporate Center Systems at our headquarters in Sachseln or in Zurich, we are looking for a Quality Expert with an eye for precision.
Quality Engineer (Corporate Center Systems)
Your area of responsibility
- System-level responsibility for quality and functional safety (FuSa)
- Tailoring and implementation of corporate quality and FuSa requirements to projects conducted in maxon production sites
- Technical FuSa management, including safety concepts, risk assessments, and interface to corporate functional safety and Manager Competence Build-up Safety-Elektronik
- Quality Engineering support in development and industrialization projects, including requirement management, quality planning, risk management, and releases
- Moderation and coordination of system, design, and process FMEA sessions
- Active contribution to a strong quality and safety culture across the product lifecycle
- Additional responsibilities as FMEA trainer at group level and internal auditor (FuSa / ISO 900)
This job is exactly right for you if...
- you hold a degree in engineering (e.g. Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar)
- you have several years of experience in development and/or industrialization for volume production
- you bring solid expertise in FuSA, system-level risk management, and quality methods (e.g. FMEA, validation, MSA)
- you are confident working across interfaces with development, production, quality, and corporate functions
- you communicate clearly and convincingly, fostering an open and constructive speak-up culture
- you are fluent in English; German is an advantage
- you are willing to travel internationally (Europe, approx. 10%)
