They are currently looking for a motivated Technical Sales Assistant to launch a career in technical sales and contribute to the continued success of their Magdeburg-based team.

Position Summary

In this role, the Technical Sales Assistant will provide vital support to the sales team in managing existing accounts and acquiring new clients. Working with technically sophisticated products, the successful candidate will assist across the entire sales lifecycle-from initial inquiry to final order completion. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive, communicative individual eager to develop their expertise in a technical commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Support: Assist the sales team in maintaining customer relationships and identifying new business potential.

• Quotation Management: Process customer inquiries and prepare detailed commercial quotations.

• Technical Clarification: Act as a bridge for technical product requirements (supported by experienced team members).

• Order Tracking: Proactively follow up on open quotations and manage customer orders.

• Process Coordination: Facilitate order processing through to invoice creation and manage customer master data.

• Internal Collaboration: Work in close alignment with senior sales leadership to meet departmental goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Completed vocational training (technical or commercial) or a university degree in a technical or business-related field.

• Language Skills: Fluency in the local language and strong written and spoken English for international client interaction.

• Technical Interest: A genuine interest in industrial or maritime technology and complex engineering products.

• Communication: A professional, authentic manner with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Work Ethic: High level of commitment, initiative, and a strong desire to learn and grow.
