REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Supervisor in Winston Salem, NC
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the IWS Quality Pillar through QIE/CoCoE reviews, DDS meetings, improvement initiatives, and Gemba walks.
- Foster a high ‑ performing culture via employee engagement, coaching, training, and recognition.
- Manage product quality, including sampling/testing, non ‑ conformance, quarantines/rework, complaint investigations, and product release.
- Conduct supplier assessments, support NPI quality data and regulatory submissions, and participate in FDA inspections.
- Uphold EHS standards through observations, compliance monitoring, training, incident reporting, and implementation of safety/environmental programs.
What are we looking for?
- Education & Experience: BS degree preferred; or equivalent experience (2+ years with associate degree, 5+ years with high school); strong background in Quality or related manufacturing fields.
- Technical Expertise: Skilled in sampling, testing, calibration, metrology, validation, problem ‑ solving, RCA, PDCA, CAPA, and Microsoft Office; experience with manufacturing reporting systems, databases, and Pilgrim (plus).
- Quality & Industry Knowledge: Previous QC, sampling, or testing experience; familiarity with tobacco manufacturing processes and food GMP (plus); ability to gain/maintain quality certifications (CQE, CQA, Six Sigma, HACCP).
- Leadership & Soft Skills: Ability to manage others, work independently, make sound risk ‑ based decisions, multitask, and communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills.
- Other Requirements: Results ‑ oriented, able to prioritize workload, knowledgeable in TPMP regulation (preferred), and maintain regular attendance.
