Your tasks:

• Conducting procurement market analyses, as well as developing and expanding the supplier portfolio with a focus on long-term and strategic business relationships
• Creating and implementing efficient supplier and product group strategies, taking into account the best possible quality, security of supply and price
• Planning tenders on your own responsibility, Conducting negotiations and professional contract management
• Interfacing with the relevant departments in the company such as engineering, quality assurance, work preparation, project management and sales
• Active risk, complaint and claim management
• Co-design and development of relevant KPIs for better control and optimisation of procurement processes

Your profile:

• Completed technical or commercial training (HTL, HAK, Uni, FH....)
• Professional experience in purchasing, ideally in steel and mechanical engineering
• Know-how in the application of modern purchasing tools and methods
• Convincing and confident demeanour, Strong negotiating skills and assertiveness
• Team player with communication skills
• Cost awareness as well as entrepreneurial and analytical thinking
• Proactive personality with a precise and structured way of working
• Sure handling of MS Office
• Experience in working with ERP systems is an advantage (SAGE)
• Skills in written and spoken English

For this position, a gross salary of 3.800,- Euro is planned. We are happy to overpay depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
