What you’ll do:
Position title: SAP iXp Intern (f/m/d) - Web Application Developer
Work Area: Software-Design and Development
Location: St. Leon Rot (remote work possible within Germany)
Expected start date: September 1, 2025
In this role, you’ll:
- Develop custom web applications that streamline SAP system operations, such as configuration, software updates, and system control.
- Model and implement BPMN processes to automate and optimize business workflows within SAP environments.
- Work with technologies including SAPUI5 (JavaScript), Java, PHP, and Perl to build both frontend interfaces and backend services.
- Deliver solutions that drive real business impact by increasing operational efficiency, reducing manual work, and supporting critical business functions.
- Collaborate with a skilled team of developers and SAP experts, gaining hands-on experience with enterprise software development and IT best practices.
Who you are:
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Ongoing bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a similar technical discipline
- Availability to work full-time during the semester
- Fluent German and English (both written and spoken)
- Familiarity with web development concepts (front-end and/or back-end)
- Interest in business process modeling (BPMN) and workflow automation
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented, international environment
- Solid foundational programming skills in JavaScript, Java, perl, php and groovy
- Motivation to learn new technologies and tackle real business challenges
- Nice-to-have is previous experience with web services or workflow automation
