What you'll build

You will support with the following AI Advocate tasks:

• Enablement & Training: Support engagement efforts with our developer community to help gather insights on their needs, pain points, and interests. Assist in developing targeted trainings that drive AI adoption
• Community & Events: Contribute to the planning and execution of AI enablement initiatives, such as hackathons and developer forums, helping to foster an AI-first culture across the organization.
• Evangelism & Research: Stay informed on emerging AI technologies and research developments. Help translate complex technical concepts into accessible summaries and insights for various stakeholders, supporting the identification of potential business applications
• Strategic Contribution: Support the ongoing development of our AI strategy by assisting in the assessment of business needs and contributing insights gathered from community engagement activities

What you bring

You are an enrolled student (f/m/d) in a field such as data science, computer science, business informatics, or a related program with a strong focus on both technology and communication:

• A strong foundational understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models, with genuine curiosity to deepen your expertise
• Solid analytical skills, with an ability to bring structure and clarity to complex or ambiguous information
• Effective communication skills, including confidence using presentation tools to make technical concepts accessible and engaging
• Comfort engaging with diverse stakeholders and interest in community building or facilitation
• Self-motivated, with the ability to manage priorities and work reliably in a remote-first environment
• Strong written and verbal English skills; German is a plus
• Working from the St. Leon-Rot office is required

While hands-on development isn’t the core focus, familiarity with these areas will help you better understand and communicate with technical teams:

• Basic understanding of software development workflows and tools (e.g., Git, GitHub)
• General awareness of ML development processes and common frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch)
• Exposure to generative AI tools and concepts (e.g., prompt engineering, RAG, AI orchestration frameworks, and AI agents

Additionally, any of the following would be valuable:

• Involvement in organising events, workshops, or community initiatives (even informally, e.g., student groups)
• Exposure to stakeholder communication or cross-functional collaboration

CXS ALM & Technology Frontrunners (ATF) Germany in Berlin and St. Leon-Rot deliver reusable cloud-based services and tools for the transformation journey of our customers.

Our diverse and agile teams invent and drive solutions with exceptional value and user experience, not only for customers, but also for the SAP Support organization.

You will be part of our team in St. Leon-Rot, supporting our AI development teams with your experience in ML and data science.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
