The Midwest Cheer Association, a program of CharitAbleMN (a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit), is seeking a passionate and organized Part-Time Program Director to lead and grow its cheer-based programs and events, including recruitment combines, Midwest-area competitions, cheer camps, and other cheer-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute programs and events under the Midwest Cheer Association.

• Oversee budgeting, logistics, and day-to-day program operations.
• Build relationships with sponsors, partners, and community stakeholders.
• Lead fundraising, sponsorship, marketing, and social media efforts.
• Manage digital communications, including website updates, email, and social media.
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors on organizational growth and strategy.

• At least 1 year of experience in program or event management (nonprofit or youth-focused experience preferred).
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with social media and marketing preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.

Position Details

• Part-time position reporting to the CharitAbleMN Board of Directors.

• Compensation: $30,000–$40,000 annually, based on experience.
• Flexible scheduling; some in-person attendance required.
• Final candidates will be required to successfully complete a background check as a condition of employment, due to the potential for contact with minors.
