Job Responsibilities:
The IoT Developer is responsible for developing software solutions to support digitizing the factory floor. Develop, analyze, and implement AI models using shop floor data.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- Must have related experience in AI and industrial controls systems.
Your preferred qualifications:
- Experience with open-source vision AI frameworks and tools.
- Understanding of multiple computer programming languages (ex: JavaScript, C#, Python, C++, Java).
- Experience with databases, management systems and different types of data storage
- Strong experience with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle and Postgres.
- NoSQL databases experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability to design an effective solution.
- Familiarity with BI technologies (ex., Microsoft Power BI, AWS Quicksight, Qlikview, Grafana)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop new techniques to connect legacy equipment to modern infrastructure.
- Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes.
- Support multiple on-going projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide audience and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses.
- Create IoT applications that run on-premise and in the cloud.
- Subscribe to MQTT topics and store into a database.
- Develop AI models using shop floor data.
- Develop applications to support digitization.
- Brainstorm new ideas and ways to improve development and delivery.
- Develop KPIs, metrics, and other monitoring tools to track I4.0 production environments.
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, external services and internal resources required.
- Work with source control tools (Confluence, GitHub, etc.).
- Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production.
- Establish, monitor and control timeline planning.
- Prepare presentations to engineering and management teams.
- Must be capable of time and project management, while prioritizing and multitasking as needed
- Address customer concerns.
- Apply knowledge of statistical methods such as regression, probability analysis, risk analysis, statistical process control, and clustering.
- Prepare reports, charts and other documentation required for engineering records and projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
