YOUR TASKS:
The Specialist AMOS Implementation supports the introduction, configuration, and continuous development of the AMOS system within an airline and MRO environment .
The role includes operational support, participation in workshops, testing, and documentation, as well as assisting business departments in the use and further development of AMOS processes.
All activities are carried out under the guidance and professional supervision of the AMOS Team.
Support Activities
- Participation in the implementation and configuration of AMOS modules
- Support in analyzing and documenting existing business processes
- Execution of basic tests (e.g. functional checks, UAT preparation) under guidance
- Support in data migration activities (e.g. preparation, validation, documentation)
- Contribution to the creation of training materials, process descriptions, and user guides
- Support during cutover, go‑live, and post‑go‑live phases
Project Support
- Participation in workshops, process design sessions, and review meetings
- Preparation of documentation, meeting minutes, and test documentation
- Support of the Senior AMOS Implementation Specialist in PMO‑related activities (e.g. progress documentation, risk overviews)
Operational Contribution
Support in one or more of the following areas (depending on experience):
- Engineering
- Maintenance
- Planning
- Logistics / Supply Chain
- MOC / MCC
- Quality Management
- Aviation Compliance
- ACC
Handling of smaller work packages within AMOS process harmonization initiatives
Stakeholder Support
- Regular coordination with business departments and IT within defined tasks
- Ensuring that inquiries, requirements, and issues are escalated and communicated in a structured manner
- Contribution to the documentation and communication of system and process changes
YOUR PROFILE:
- Initial experience with AMOS or similar aviation‑related IT systems (e.g. TRAX) is an advantage
- Basic understanding of aviation technical processes (EASA/FAA knowledge desirable, but not mandatory)
- Interest in system configuration, data structures, workflows, and process design
- Willingness to gradually build up AMOS expertise
- Strong analytical skills and a structured working approach
- Solid English language skills, both written and spoken
- Good communication skills, also in an international environment
- High willingness to learn, team spirit, and reliability
- Ability to independently handle smaller tasks based on clear guidelines
- Willingness to travel occasionally (e.g. for workshops, testing, or go‑live activities)
