Senior Procurement Manager (m/w/d)

Your Tasks:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, driving operational efficiency.
• Supplier & Contract Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks. Monitor supplier performance and resolve disputes.
• Provide functional leadership for Procurement team members, ensuring alignment with processes, standards, and strategic objectives.
• Process Optimization: define procurement policies and processes and implement tools for effective and where possible standardised procurement practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Legal, Sales and other departments to align procurement activities. Support sustainability initiatives through strategic sourcing.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Analyze procurement metrics and report on performance and savings.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, preferably within heavy machinery industries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage large-scale supplier contracts and complex procurement projects.
• Experience using procurement management software and tools.
• willingness to travel
• Proficient in German and English, both verbal and written.
• Drivers licence.
