Overview
Join SRAM’s dynamic Product Development team and help shape the future of cycling! As a Test Engineer, you will build, test, and validate cutting‑edge mechanical and electronic components that push the boundaries of performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, methods, and procedures for next‑generation SRAM products.
- Collaborate with engineers to create and optimize automated testing systems for advanced mechatronic devices.
- Analyze product behavior and test data to support and accelerate development activities.
- Apply statistical and reliability principles to ensure robust test processes.
- Support the creation and release of detailed test procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, systems, and test tools.
- Perform additional tasks as required in a fast‑paced R&D environment.
- Resolve complex engineering issues related to test execution and data interpretation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in testing or product development.
- Proficiency in English; German language skills required.
- Practical experience in test execution and issue tracking (preferred).
- Familiarity with mechatronic systems and sensor technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and multicultural teams.
- Python development experience (scripts, modules, applications) is a plus.
- Experience with 3D modeling and failure analysis tools is beneficial.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
