Your area of responsibility
In this role, you will shape the sustainable and safe direction of our company. Your focus will be on integrated environmental, occupational health and safety, as well as the further development of our management systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Further development and maintenance of our integrated HSE management system
Assessment and management of environmental aspects as well as implementation of measures to reduce emissions, waste and energy consumption
Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and supporting official and environmental audits.
Conducting and updating risk assessments
Derivation and monitoring of effective prevention and protection measures
Planning and execution of internal audits as well as support with external certifications
Conducting training courses and instruction on environmental and occupational safety topics
Advising managers and employees on all HSE issues (including acting as an occupational safety specialist)
Creation and analysis of relevant key performance indicators (e.g., energy, waste, LTIFR) and support for other locations in audit preparations.
Cooperation with authorities, employers' liability insurance associations and external testing organizations, as well as participation in emergency and crisis management
your qualification
Completed technical studies or technical training (e.g. mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, safety engineering, etc.)
Training as a specialist for occupational safety in accordance with § 7 ASiG
Several years of experience in the field of HSE, ideally in a manufacturing or technical environment
Sound knowledge of relevant legal regulations (including Workplace Ordinance, Industrial Safety Ordinance, DGUV regulations, environmental law)
Practical experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Experience in dealing with authorities and certification bodies
Analytical thinking skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and intercultural competence
Strong awareness of sustainability and environmental responsibility
