The Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental Protection department of Stadtwerke Solingen GmbH ensures that safe working conditions, health promotion, and legal requirements are reliably integrated into daily operations. Your area of ​​responsibility
As a safety engineer specializing in occupational safety software, you combine the digital development of occupational safety with operational tasks of safety engineering support.
You will be responsible for conducting safety-related consultations and inspections in accordance with the German Occupational Safety and Health Act (ASiG), documenting the results, and developing practical solutions and support proposals for managers and specialist departments.
You will assume overall responsibility for the introduction and operation of the occupational safety software in all divisions and central departments of the municipal utility group, determine the requirements for the software modules, and ensure legally compliant implementation.
You will oversee the tendering process, the introduction and configuration of the software, conduct training for users, and manage updates and the ongoing operation of the systems.
You will use your expertise to analyze and digitize existing occupational safety processes and to create practical templates for users.
You support the specialist departments in using the software, advise on legal requirements and ensure the continuous optimization of occupational safety processes.

your qualification
You have a Master's degree with a focus on occupational safety, safety engineering or engineering; ideally, you also have a qualification as an occupational safety specialist or are willing to acquire one.
You have experience in project management, in the practical implementation of occupational safety requirements within the organization, and in the design of occupational safety processes for the introduction and mapping of these processes in occupational safety software.
You possess excellent analytical and conceptual skills, work in a structured and independent manner, and have strong teamwork and communication skills.
