Manufacturing Process Development Laboratory Technician
Join Sonova, global leader in innovative hearing care solutions, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge manufacturing processes. We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Development Laboratory Technician to support our Manufacturing Engineering and R&D teams in experimental work, process qualification, and troubleshooting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute chemical, physical, and mechanical analyses, including environmental testing
- Set up, install, and run experiments for development and root-cause analysis
- Document test procedures, results, and findings accurately
- Support development and improvement projects across ME and R&D
- Develop and refine internal test methods and standards
- Maintain laboratory safety, cleanliness, and organisation
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Ensure compliance with internal quality and safety standards
Your Profile
- Completed education as Chemistry or Physics Laboratory Technician (EFZ) or equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience in R&D environments, particularly in chemical/physical labs
- Strong knowledge of chemical and material analytical techniques
- Independent, precise, and structured working style
- High quality orientation and service-minded attitude
- Team player with good communication skills and integrity
- Fluent in German; intermediate English required
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with Minitab, Matlab, or CAD is a plus
