Practical Trainee - Data Collection RLL

Purpose of the job:

As a Practical Trainee - Data Collection RLL, you will contribute to advancing a non-invasive Listening Intention (LI) algorithm within the Darling Innosuisse project. You will support the collection, processing, and documentation of experimental data from hearing device microphones and accelerometers. Your work will help improve the algorithm’s performance and robustness, providing key insights for ongoing research and future product integration. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge auditory research and develop skills in data analysis, experimentation, and scientific documentation.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Performing technical checks on the already designed experiments
• Recruiting participant and performing the experiments
• Performing sanity check on the collected data
• Post processing the data to make them compatible with the rest of the pipeline
• Producing comprehensive documentation of the methodology, process, and results

Your profile:

• Familiarity with Matlab, Python and good aptitude towards new programming languages

• Well-developed analytical and critical thinking abilities

• A demonstrated aptitude for effective teamwork and collaboration

• Excellent organizational skills, particularly in producing clear, maintainable code and thorough documentation
