As an Automation Engineer at our site in Stein, Canton Aargau, you will be a key contact for all matters related to the HVAC systems managed and operated through the DeltaV control system . As part of the Automation Team, you will ensure the technical availability, reliability, and lifecycle management of the entire HVAC Systems. In this role, you will act as a technical expert, drive operational excellence, and support the organization in maintaining compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

What you will do:
Ensure technical availability of the HVAC System
Lead platform‑based troubleshooting and root cause analyses to guarantee continuous system operation
Execute maintenance and qualification activities, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date documentation
Manage and maintain interfaces such as OPC-UA for integration into MES and data historian systems
Collaborate closely with project teams and provide technical leadership for system-related topics
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data insights and cross-site network collaboration
Support and oversee deviation and change management processes within the area of responsibility
What we are looking for:
HF/FH/B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Industrial IT
Strong technical background in process automation, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
Hands-on experience with Distributed Control Systems DeltaV
Solid understanding of industrial process automation, especially HVAC and Utilities
Strong engineering and commissioning experience ensuring technical and compliance excellence
Working knowledge of interfacing technologies such as OPC-UA
Fluent in English; German language skills preferred
