We are looking for mechanical system engineer for one of our main clients in Switzerland.

Tasks

• Design, develop, and validate aerospace mechanical systems and components in compliance with industry standards and certification requirements.
• Apply advanced knowledge of fundamental physics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, aerospace technology, and materials to system-level engineering challenges.
• Perform system analyses, trade studies, simulations, and technical calculations to support design optimization and performance validation.
• Develop and maintain 2D/3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
• Support system integration, testing, and qualification activities, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Solid understanding of core engineering principles, including physics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, aerospace systems, and materials science.
• Familiarity with acoustics is a plus.
• Skilled in MS Office and experienced with 2D/3D CAD tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated ability to organize workload effectively and work independently.
• Exceptional precision, strong attention to detail, and a high level of safety consciousness required for aerospace applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of German and/or French is a strong advantage.
• Proactive team player with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
