Job Description:
We love cables! Our client is a leading provider of innovative fiber optic products and solutions. Our mission is to drive digitalization forward and support network operators in building high-performance, future-proof fiber optic networks. To help expand broadband infrastructure, we are seeking multiple Sales Managers Fiber Optics (m/f/d). Your responsibilities will include:
Acquiring and managing relationships with network operators and municipal business clients
Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet sales targets
Presenting and consulting on our product portfolio to potential and existing customers
Preparing offers, negotiating, and closing contracts
Maintaining and expanding long-term customer relationships
Monitoring the market and analyzing trends in fiber optic and broadband technologies
Managing RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs (in line with VOB, TGA, UVgO regulations)
Job Requirements:
Here’s what you bring to the table to convince us:
Several years of sales experience, ideally in the fiber optics sector
Experience with carrier-grade solution selling in the telecommunications industry
Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills
Knowledge of contract and public procurement law (VOB, VOL, HOAI, TGA, UVgO)
Strong communication skills in both German and English
Willingness to travel for business, including outside of Germany
Ideally, familiarity with HFC and GPON networks
