For over 30 years, INRO in Stockstadt am Main in the centre of the FrankfurtRhineMain metropolitan region has been producing control systems and drive solutions that reliably set systems and machines in motion. Industrial trucks, construction machinery and pump systems are just a few examples where our solutions ensure that everything runs safely, precisely and efficiently every day. With around 150 employees, we realise all steps from the initial idea to series production directly at our site in Stockstadt am Main. In our team, people of different ages, experiences and nationalities work together on well thought-out products. In this way, new solutions for demanding applications are constantly being created, in which we utilise the latest technology. Short decision-making processes and regional ties characterise our daily work.
Your tasks
As a team member in our Software Development department, you are the central interface between software development, project management and certification bodies and play a key role in ensuring the safety, quality and sustainability of our products. You will ensure that all functional safety requirements are implemented in a planned, efficient and product-specific manner throughout the entire software development process.
These activities are part of your range of tasks:
- In co-operation with the project management, you create plans and proofs of functional safety and carry out structured reviews in the team.
- They monitor compliance with all security guidelines and ensure that these are consistently implemented in the development process.
- When liaising with certification bodies (e.g. TÜV), you coordinate all relevant steps and ensure a transparent flow of information.
- You carry out hazard and risk analyses together with the team and propose suitable measures to improve functional safety.
Your profile
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics, software engineering or a comparable degree programme
- Relevant professional experience e.g. as Functional Safety Manager Automotive (m/f/d)
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards, e.g. DIN EN 61508, DIN EN ISO 13849 or ISO 26262
- Goal-orientated way of thinking and working and ability to work in a team
- Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
