For over 30 years, INRO in Stockstadt am Main in the centre of the FrankfurtRhineMain metropolitan region has been producing control systems and drive solutions that reliably set systems and machines in motion. Industrial trucks, construction machinery and pump systems are just a few examples where our solutions ensure that everything runs safely, precisely and efficiently every day. With around 150 employees, we realise all steps from the initial idea to series production directly at our site in Stockstadt am Main. In our team, people of different ages, experiences and nationalities work together on well thought-out products. In this way, new solutions for demanding applications are constantly being created, in which we utilise the latest technology. Short decision-making processes and regional ties characterise our daily work.
Your tasks
As a team member of our five-person purchasing department, you will actively shape the future of our innovative products. You will take responsibility for sourcing our items, ensuring our products are always available in the best possible quality and on time. In your role, you will work closely with the development department, production, logistics and our suppliers, and will be involved in the procurement of components throughout all product phases, from the initial prototype, through series ramp-up, to the phase-out. We offer you a varied working environment with plenty of scope for your own ideas and without rigid corporate structures. The following tasks await you as a Technical Buyer at INRO
- You will independently manage the entire purchasing process within our development and series projects, ensuring that technical, commercial, and deadline requirements are met.
- You will be responsible for strategic and operational negotiations for our components and will create stable, long-term supplier setups.
- You will prepare and successfully conduct price, condition and contract negotiations with our suppliers and service providers.
- Systematically analyse existing and new procurement markets to develop optimal procurement strategies, particularly within the context of project-related requirements.
- You actively contribute to cost optimisation and adherence to budget targets.
- They continuously maintain relationships with national and international suppliers and build new supplier partnerships.
- Agreed delivery dates are consistently monitored by you and coordinated in close co-operation with the suppliers.
- You will be involved in supplier assessment and development in order to continuously improve delivery reliability and quality.
Your profile
Completed degree in engineering, or a commercial or technical apprenticeship with a technician qualification.
Demonstrable experience in technical purchasing, with a focus on project-driven procurement, ideally within the electronics sector.
Experience in Material Compliance (e.g. REACH, RoHS) advantageous.
Negotiation skills and confident demeanour.
Safe handling of MS Office applications and an ERP system.
Very good German and good English skills, written and spoken.
