In the Team Central Customer Account, we are laying the foundation for this with the Mercedes me ID:
Users of our vehicles and services contact Mercedes-Benz via a large number of different channels online (web, vehicle, smartphone apps) and offline (dealership, call centers) and leave behind data that has a significant influence on our business relationship from prospective customer to customer. Recognizing customers and prospects using a cross-channel method, obtaining their consent to data collection and encouraging them to submit further data are strategically important prerequisites for building a meaningful customer profile, personalized dialogue, long-term customer loyalty, customer satisfaction and thus for the future sales success of Mercedes-Benz.
The Mercedes me ID is already the leading access point for all digital channels for our customers and interested parties worldwide – a "single sign-on" for the digital services of Mercedes-Benz. The "Central Customer Account" team has set itself the goal of further expanding this access to enable a seamless customer experience in digital and physical retail. In addition, we are responsible for the successful design and implementation of a central customer database as the basis of the customer account. This is to be made available to all relevant stakeholders to enable the best possible customer experience in the future both offline and online.
These exciting challenges await you, among others:
- Project Management: Join exciting project management tasks, helping to understand business demands for managing customer data and transforming them into technical requirements
- Testing Protocols: Assist in defining and documenting end-to-end testing protocols for various demands, collaborating with different customer-facing channels and departments
- Data Validation: Work on identifying and implementing data validation roles according to market requirements, ensuring data accuracy with your attention to detail
- Access Review: Help perform access reviews and identify discrepancies between different tools used for managing accesses, utilizing your analytical skills to keep everything in order
- Independent analysis and revision of the market-specific customer experience e.g. on our Mercedes me ID websites
- Development of appealing training documents of the Mercedes me ID strategy for markets and regions
- Design of communication documents, co-design of workshops as well as their preparation and follow-up
- Planning and creation of social intranet articles
- Close contact with other specialist departments and international marketing colleagues
- Collaboration on exciting project management tasks using the example of the marketing of the Mercedes me ID in all sales stages
- Collaboration on retail-specific Mme ID topics (such as ensuring secure authentication of the customer at the retailer or the implementation of the Mme ID in the individual retail applications)

The mandatory internship can start from October 2025.
- Ongoing studies in the field of economics, business administration, economics, industrial engineering, media management, communication science, marketing, business informatics or a comparable course of study
- Initial practical experience (e.g. internships, part-time jobs, training), ideally in a related field
- Customer first! - The customer always comes first for you
- You have a basic understanding of what an IT system means
- You enjoy redesigning a website in terms of content and customer-centricity
- You have an affinity for digital topics
- You have very good oral and written communication skills
- You are characterized by a quick grasp, an independent and structured way of working, organizational skills, reliability, creativity and good communication skills
- You are familiar with the common Office applications
- You are a team player and sociability is a strength of yours
- You have a high willingness to learn and enjoy personal development
- You have very good German and English skills
