Scientific Coordinator (f/m/d) of a Long-Term Experiment on Geo-Biosphere Interactions (E13 TV-L 100%, fixed-term until 31.12.2032)
The newly funded Cluster of Excellence TERRA – "Terrestrial Geo-Biosphere Interactions in a Chang-ingWorld" is an interdisciplinary research initiative involving geoscientists, biologists, and computer scientists from the Universities of Tübingen and Hohenheim, as well as the Senckenberg Institute for Biodiversity and Earth System Research in Frankfurt. The cluster investigates how interactions between the living and non-living world shape global change – from individual organisms to the entire globe – in the geological past, present, and future. The research initiative will commence on January 1, 2026, and is currently funded until December 31, 2032. A central component of the initiative is the establishment and investigation of a long-term experiment on geo-biosphere interactions as part of the research plat-form "Diversitorium”.
As part of the Cluster of Excellence TERRA, the University of Hohenheim, together with the Department of Plant Ecology, is looking for a:
