• Design and implementation of modern data architectures (e.g., Medallion Architecture, Data Lakehouse)
• Development and optimization of data pipelines (batch & streaming) with Kafka, Spark/Databricks and cloud services such as Azure Data Factory
• Use and integration of central Databricks components such as Unity Catalog or AI/BI Genie
• Ensuring data and AI governance, security, and compliance in cloud architectures
• Support in setting up and presenting customer demos, as well as collaboration on presales topics.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams in agile projects (Scrum/Kanban)
• Responsibility for DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines and automation with Terraform and other infrastructure tools
• Close collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders to translate technical solutions into the business context

qualification

• Studies in (business) informatics, mathematics, physics, statistics or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in developing data engineering solutions using Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL and cloud platforms.
• Know-how in Big Data architectures (Data Lakes, Delta Lakes, DWH, ETL/ELT, streaming technologies).
• Experience with programming & automation (Python, Scala, SQL, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Excellent language skills in German and English.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of MLOps, DBT or Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region.
