Student or Research Assistant

Looking for: Someone who can tell soy from chickpea apart, or is willing to learn.

Student assistant needed for field measurements and crop assessments in our NOcsPS legume project. Workload: approx. 40 hours per month.

For our field trial at Ihinger Hof, we are looking for a student assistant who enjoys working outdoors. The project investigates how different legume species (soybean, chickpea, and lentil intercropped with oat) perform in a crop rotation without synthetic chemical plant protection products, and what interactions occur between the species as well as with the following crop, winter wheat. To answer these questions, we collect weekly data on crop development, biomass production, and yield parameters directly on the trial site at Ihinger Hof.
