LeMaitre, a global leader in the vascular industry, is seeking a hands-on finance and operations executive to lead its European Regional Headquarters in Sulzbach, near Frankfurt. As Vice President, Finance & Operations, you will step into a strategically vital role with the opportunity to shape business performance while contributing to better patient outcomes across the EMEA region. Besides being the VP, Finance & Operations, you will also be the Managing Director (Geschäftsführer) for the GmbH.

Transforming Finance and Operations for Strategic Impact

As VP, Finance & Operations you will be responsible for overseeing and transforming all finance and operational functions including Accounting, IT, HR, Customer Service, Warehouse and Fulfilment. Beyond ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, you will be tasked with shaping a strategic, insight-driven finance function capable of guiding decisions across the business. Operationally, the role calls for a high-impact leader who can build cohesion among teams, foster collaboration, improve systems and processes, and drive change initiatives such as the ongoing Microsoft D365 ERP rollout. As a close and trusted partner to the SVP, International, and a key member of the European leadership team, you will ensure all regional functions operate in alignment with LeMaitre’s strategic vision.

A Visible Leader with Financial Acumen

The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of senior-level experience in Finance and Operations within international and publicly listed companies. Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance is strongly preferred, as is a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement operational improvements. Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft D365, will be a distinct advantage. To succeed in this role, we expect you to be a visible and approachable leader, who is highly analytical, proactive, and capable of inspiring trust and performance through presence, communication, and strategic clarity. Fluency in English is required, and a working knowledge of German is strongly preferred.
