Mantell Associates is partnered with a well-established Pharmaceutical company, known for its high-quality generic and OTC product portfolio, who is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to support its growth in the Swiss market.
You will play a key role in building customer relationships, driving product awareness, and expanding market share.
Sales Representative – Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and grow the sales of generic and OTC products across assigned territories / pharmacies, clinics, and retail chains
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals (pharmacists, doctors), retail outlets, and key accounts to ensure product availability and visibility
- Execute sales strategies and promotional plans to meet or exceed targets for revenue, market penetration, and customer satisfaction
- Monitor competitor product launches, pricing, and promotional activities; provide actionable market intelligence to support strategic decisions
- Collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management and Supply Chain teams to ensure promotional compliance, product readiness, and efficient order fulfilment
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge; deliver training and product information to customers as needed
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and account reviews; ensure accurate tracking of performance metrics
Sales Representative – Requirements:
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, ideally with generics and/or OTC products in Switzerland or similar European markets
- Strong understanding of Swiss healthcare distribution, pharmacy networks, regulatory constraints (e.g. OTC regulation, product registration)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; fluency in German and/or French, plus English is highly advantageous
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in field roles
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel regularly within territory
- Based in Switzerland, with legal eligibility to work without visa sponsorship
