What you will move in this role:
- Development of technical concepts for diagnostic functions as well as for functions, requirements, and interfaces of our inductive charging system
- Evaluation and coordination of the impact of new diagnostic and system functions on the software and system architecture, in close collaboration with the Software Architect and other specialist departments
- Definition, maintenance, and alignment of system and software requirements, including creation and monitoring of the necessary verification and validation criteria
- Ensuring compliance with relevant norms, standards, and processes, especially ASPICE as well as charging‑ and safety‑related standards such as ISO 15118 and IEC standards
- Development of new diagnostic and system features, including derivation and maintenance of a function and product roadmap in coordination with project and product management
- Support of development and testing phases, including analysis and review of test results, as well as coordination with suppliers and internal interfaces to ensure series readiness
What skills and experience you should bring:
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field
- At least 7 years of professional experience in the automotive software domain and at least 3 years of experience in automotive diagnostics
- Hands‑on experience with Infineon Aurix microcontrollers; ideally additional knowledge of STM32
- Solid expertise in AUTOSAR diagnostic components (e.g., DCM, DEM) and diagnostic protocols such as UDS and OBD
- Strong analytical and structured way of working, with excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills
- Team‑oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a self‑driven, proactive working style
