Bid & Contract Evaluation Manager (f/m/d)

About the department

Within the HENSOLDT Finance Function (site Taufkirchen or Ulm) we are looking for a Bid & Contract Evaluation Manager to support the approval process for offers that HENSOLDT submits to Customers and contracts which the company signs with Customers. The target is to protect the company’s interests and to ensure that approvals are granted in line with applicable processes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the organization and conducting of approval meetings (“RMC Meetings”) with the HENSOLDT Management
• Prior to the approval meeting, review and assessment of the offers / contracts and preparation with the different involved functions and stakeholders in order to prepare the approval
• Responsible to verify that all aspects relevant for the approval, such as profitability, risks and mitigation measures are clearly and fully explained and presented to the approvers.
• Responsible to verify on the basis of the applicable Company’s approval thresholds on which decision-making level an offer / contract must be approved by the Management.
• Ensure that the preparation and conducting of the offer / contract approvals is taking place in a timeline that is compatible with the expectation and deadlines required by HENSOLDT’s Customers.
• Responsible for the document and data management /archiving related to the approval meetings.

Qualification / Requirements

• Qualified to degree level in finance, economics or equivalent
• Experience in a company function such as Commercial, Finance, Bid Management, Sales
• Adaptable, able to work in an independent manner, showing a strong business mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Team Player
• Excellent English skills
