To support our team at a renowned customer in the defense sector, we are looking for a Design & Development Engineer / STTE Developer (m/f/d) for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does that sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks:

• Development of simulators and special equipment for testing the sensors in the laboratory and as support for integration
• Coordination with the various areas of development, including software, firmware, algorithms and hardware
• Integration, commissioning and testing of the simulators at subsystem and system level
• Improvements and bug fixing of existing simulators
• New development of software for special equipment for newly developed sensors
• Support in the creation of development, product and verification documents
• Assuming responsibility for work packages in the assigned work environment for cost, quality and risk assessment
• Participation in field tests and measurement campaigns as well as customer demonstrations

Skills:

• Completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering/electronics (at least technician/specialist) or completed studies (at least Bachelor) in electrical engineering, computer science or mechanical engineering
• Very good programming skills in LabWindows/CVI
• Experience with MATLAB App Designer
• Proven experience in the development of laboratory, test and inspection software
• Knowledge of system and subsystem tests and commissioning of test systems
• Ability to work interdisciplinary with software, firmware, hardware and algorithm teams
• Structured, independent way of working with a sense of responsibility for quality, costs and risks
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
