Bachelor/Master Thesis in Electrical Engineering / Automation Technology (m/f/d)

The following tasks await you:

• Analysis of a distributed machine architecture with master PLC and a sub-controller
• Design of the coupling (free choice of protocol)
• Development of a communication and data model between the controllers
• Architectural concept for the centralized provision of B&R mapp components
• Examination of real-time behavior as well as the consistent state depiction between master and sub-controller
• Implementation and validation of the concept in a prototype setup with at least two controllers

The suitable requirements are:

• Studies in electrical engineering or automation technology
• Interest in industrial control systems and distributed architectures
• Basic knowledge in B&R Automation Studio is an advantage
• Independent and structured working style
