Final Thesis (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering / Automation Technology (m/f/d)

You can expect the following tasks:

• Analysis of a distributed machine architecture with master PLC and a sub-control
• Conceptual design of the coupling (free protocol selection)
• Development of a communication and data model between the controls
• Architectural concept for the centralized provision of B&R mapp components
• Investigation of real-time behavior as well as the consistent state representation between the master and sub-control
• Implementation and validation of the concept in a prototype setup with at least two controls

The appropriate requirements are:

• Studies in electrical engineering or automation technology
• Interest in industrial control systems and distributed architectures
• Basic knowledge in B&R Automation Studio is advantageous
• Independent and structured work style
