Thesis (Bachelor/Master) Electrical Engineering/Automation Engineering (m/f/d)

The following tasks await you:

• Analysis of a distributed machine architecture with a master PLC and a sub-controller
• Conceptualization of the coupling (free protocol selection)
• Development of a communication and data model between the controllers
• Architectural concept for the centralized provisioning of B&R mapp components
• Investigation of the real-time behavior as well as the consistent state mapping between master and sub-controller
• Implementation and validation of the concept in a prototype setup with at least two controllers

The appropriate prerequisites are:

• Studies in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology
• Interest in industrial control systems and distributed architectures
• Basic knowledge of B&R Automation Studio is advantageous
• Independent and structured working style
