Technology Excellence Manager (m/f/d)
with a focus on Innovations

The incumbent will drive innovation, efficiency, safety and sustainability through a pipeline of scalable technologies that anticipate future needs and enhance our products. Creating value-added global technical solutions covering end-to-end Global Supply Chain operations (from Leaf to Finished Goods Warehousing) is a key focus of the role.

Position:

As the Technology Excellence Manager (m/f/d), you will:

• Develop Innovative technical concepts and solutions in close cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and internal functions
• Proactively scout for existing and emerging technologies to anticipate future organization needs and provide technical solutions for enhanced products that satisfy internal and external customers' needs
• Plan, execute and lead or support complex engineering projects while ensuring relevant technical standards are being considered and implemented and critical KPIs achieved
• Identify potential risks associated with new technologies and develop technical solutions to mitigate
• these risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Constantly develop and globally govern technical standards & solutions (base equipment setup, mechanical/electrical design solutions, dimensional specification, Digital Smart Factory, infrastructure, logistic, sustainability and others) to ensure and delivery standardization globally with up-to-date technical specifications
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for assigned technology to provide effective and qualitative support for other departments, to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement pipeline
• Support professional and IWS IM capabilities development of the engineering community across Company operations by coaching and mentoring
• Responsible & owner of IWS IM for the new technologies for JTI 

Requirements :

• STEM University Degree is a must, Master’s degree of Science or Engineering is a plus
• Min. 5 years Solid project management experience in engineering, manufacturing or other relevant Supply Chain Organization of FMCG industry. Experience with IWS or similar systems is an advantage
• Experience with new Technologies Development, research activities and patent applications are a plus
• Strong communication skills with a creative mind and analytical skills
• Advanced MS Office knowledge is a must, AutoCAD skills are a plus
• Fluency in English
