The Director Program Management Office leads strategic projects for the Sector and the Sector President. The role includes running business reviews, partnering with Customer Managers and external customers to identify improvement opportunities, and managing core Program Office activities such as pipeline oversight, reporting tools, executive decks, and monthly executive reports. The position focuses on value creation and building trusted customer relationships to support revenue growth, increase share of wallet, and strengthen our competitive position.
Principal Accountabilities
- Drive strategic customer and sector programs including CDPs, white-spot analyses and workshops.
- Steer sector project and pipeline management including ACE, CSR, AR and reporting tools.
- Prepare executive-level materials and support meetings for the Sector President.
- Lead Executive Sponsorship Program activities and senior customer engagement.
- Run sector governance processes such as BU reviews and SMT meetings.
- Analyze and improve internal sector processes and organizational efficiency.
- Represent the sector in global CSI initiatives and cross-regional projects.
- Coordinate annual cycles including budget, forecasting and business outlook.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- University degree and 8–15 years relevant commercial experience.
- Experience leading global, cross-functional programs in a matrix environment.
- Strong project management and operational background.
- Broad understanding of DHL Business Units and logistics industry knowledge.
- Solid financial acumen including P&L, forecasting and analysis.
- Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High resilience, detail orientation and a positive, solution-focused mindset.
