Am Institut für Angewandte Physik der Universität Tübingen ( www.bioforce.uni-tuebingen.de ) ist im Rahmen des interdisziplinären DFG-Graduiertenkollegs GRK 2543 "Intraoperative multisensorische Gewebedifferenzierung in der Onkologie" ( www.grk2543.uni-stuttgart.de , Kooperation mit dem Universitätsklinikum Tübingen und der Universität Stuttgart), Projekt A4, zum 01.04.2026 für die Dauer von 3 Jahren und mit dem Ziel der Promotion (Dr. rer. nat.) die folgende Stelle zu besetzen:

Differenzierung von Geweben anhand ihrer elastischen Eigenschaften

Thema und Ziel:

Sie erforschen, wie sich elasto-mechanische Eigenschaften von Zellen und Gewebe zur Unterscheidung zwischen gesundem und erkranktem Gewebe nutzen lassen. Dazu entwickeln und kombinieren Sie Methoden der optischen und Rastersonden-Mikroskopie (AFM, SICM) sowie die neuartige Wasserstrahl-Elastographie. Langfristig entsteht ein multimodales Sensorsystem für die minimalinvasive Chirurgie.

Ihre Aufgaben:

Entwicklung und Anwendung innovativer Messmethoden (AFM, SICM, Wasserstrahl-Elastographie)
Analyse elasto-mechanischer Eigenschaften von Zellen und Geweben
Interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit mit Physik, Biologie und Medizintechnik
Publikation Ihrer Ergebnisse und Präsentation auf internationalen Konferenzen

Qualifikation:

Abgeschlossenes Masterstudium in Physik, Biophysik, Ingenieurwissenschaften oder verwandten Bereichen
Interesse an experimenteller Forschung und Mikroskopietechniken
Teamfähigkeit und Freude an interdisziplinärer Arbeit
Gute Englischkenntnisse
