Hello, I’m Ivo Mästinger, and I lead a dynamic team in the power plant sector. With over 40 engineers located globally, we support our clients in the execution of power plant projects – from planning, site management, and supervision of installation, to commissioning. Püssi – Grid Stabiliser, Ishinomaki Biomass, and Seaboard / Estrella del Mar III are just three examples of our diverse project portfolio. We also offer comprehensive services for existing plants.

A strong commitment to service and high motivation to work together with colleagues and clients to find solutions are key to success. Tasks

• Lead commissioning of generator excitation and / or frequency converter systems
• Take responsibility for configuring, testing, start up and commissioning of excitation and drive systems including auxiliaries
• Work on large scale power plants or industrial plants worldwide
• Collaborate with Commissioning Engineers and Customers of various background and expertise
• Troubleshoot problems on excitation and converters in collaboration with other technical experts

Requirements

• Electrical Technician or Engineering degree
• Hands-on experience with commissioning power electronic equipment of proven manufcturers
• Preferably experience with established products in this field (for instance Siemens RG3-S, ABB Unitrol, GE LS2100 etc.)
• Willingness to work internationally on challenging commissioning projects
• You are a team player and do well with interactions with customers / co-workers / etc. of other cultures
• Ability to communicate in english
