Job description
- You will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of complex, varied and one-piece surgical instruments
- You will also be responsible for setting up the workstation and working on conventional machines
- You will be responsible for grinding, deburring, filing, bending, straightening, drilling and assembling surgical instruments and components
- You will be responsible for learning and maintaining process requirements in the assigned area, to fulfil safety, quality, compliance and production targets as well as training requirements
- You are responsible for carrying out in-process inspections and quality inspections according to specifications
- You also carry out functional and surface inspections
- You are responsible for the timely and proper assembly according to the production order, assembly and inspection instructions, process instructions and drawings
Requirements
- You have completed training as a surgical mechanic (m/f/d), tool mechanic (m/f/d) specialising in instrument technology or a comparable qualification
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience or a combination of education, experience and training
- Good written and spoken German and basic English skills characterise you
- You show a willingness to provide support in other areas
- Diligence and quality-conscious work speak for you
- A valid work permit rounds off your profile
