Job description
- Your job starts with clamping workpieces and required tools, setting the machine parameters precisely and determining the zero points
- During production, you supply the machines with material and monitor how they automatically perform processes such as turning or milling
- You always pay attention to quality control - you check the dimensional accuracy and quality of the manufactured parts and, if necessary, go directly to post-processing
- With care, you take care of regular cleaning, care and simple maintenance work on the machines and rectify minor faults yourself as soon as they occur
- you are committed to process optimisation by identifying and actively implementing opportunities to improve processing times, material consumption and processes
Requirements
- You have successfully completed your training, ideally in the metal sector such as as a cutting machine operator (m/f/d) or as a metal technology specialist (m/f/d)
- Your technical understanding enables you to work confidently with drawings, measuring instruments and basic maths
- You always carry out your work with a high degree of care and precision, especially when it comes to precise processing and quality control
- It is easy for you to work independently, because you have the ability take on tasks independently
- When operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines, you can draw on your experience in setting up and monitoring
- Your expertise is also demonstrated in carrying out tests, to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality at all times
- Your knowledge of tools and their correct use makes you an important support for the team
- With your willingness to work in 2 shifts, you ensure flexible deployment options
- You have a good command of German and a valid work permit
