European Pricing Specialist
We are seeking a European Pricing Specialist to join our European Sales organisation within the Husqvarna Forest & Garden Division. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting regional revenue growth and margin improvement through advanced pricing analysis, commercial modelling, and cross-market coordination. You will also help anchor our value-based pricing approach and increase price transparency through reporting tools such as Power BI.
The European Sales organisation within Husqvarna Forest & Garden Division is a dynamic and fast-paced environment focused on driving profitable growth and customer-centric solutions. We are committed to enabling our markets with strategic pricing models, actionable insights, and tools to optimise price execution across all sales channels.
The role
As European Pricing Specialist, you will work closely with the Director of Pricing & Sales Operations and a network of regional pricing managers to translate our pricing strategy into actionable, market-relevant initiatives across Europe. In close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams, you will take ownership of core pricing processes, including the annual price-setting cycle, while aligning regional execution with strategic objectives. You will also develop models and tools that support data-driven decision-making and help ensure consistency, transparency, and commercial impact in pricing across all markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pricing Strategy & Execution
- Translate global pricing strategy into actionable initiatives tailored to European markets and customer segments.
- Co-lead our value-based pricing methodology in collaboration with Product Management and local stakeholders.
- Coordinate the annual price-setting process across markets, including Recommended Retail Prices (RRPs), price corridors, and margin targets.
- Ensure strategic consistency across channels while adapting to local market dynamics.
2. Pricing Analysis, Modelling & Reporting
- Analyse pricing effectiveness, elasticity, competitive movements, and discounting behaviours to identify margin improvement and growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain advanced pricing models (e.g. price waterfalls, elasticity curves, segmentation models).
- Develop and manage Power BI dashboards to track pricing performance, promotional impact, and support scenario modelling for commercial decisions.
3. Promotion & Trade Investment Management
- Define, implement, and continuously improve a structured European-wide promotion process.
- Collaborate with the Channel Development team to evaluate trade investment effectiveness and ensure optimal ROI from promotional spend.
- Track, analyse, and report on promotional performance across countries and product families, feeding learnings into future planning.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration & Capability Building
- Act as an expert for pricing, partnering with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to align pricing practices with business objectives.
- Share best practices, lead training sessions, and support capability building across the pricing and sales community.
- Contribute to the improvement of pricing processes, governance frameworks, and systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance.
Who are you
You are a commercially focused professional with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for pricing and revenue optimisation. You enjoy working across countries and cultures, building alignment, and enabling others with tools, models, and structured processes. You combine deep pricing know-how with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach.
You are experienced in Power BI and Excel, able to build models, derive insights, and translate data into impactful decisions. You thrive in dynamic, cross-functional environments and bring structure, clarity, and drive to complex commercial questions.
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or another analytical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing, commercial analytics, or revenue management, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Fluent in English; German, French or Swedish is a strong asset.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI and Excel; experience with ERP and pricing-specific tools is a plus.
- Experience working across European markets with sensitivity to pricing complexity and customer/channel structures.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
