Project Manager R&D, Scrum Master Background (m/f/d)

We are a german high-tech company based in Ulm and an innovative manufacturer and developer of energy storage technology. Focusing on innovations in intelligent load management and reliable battery management systems have made BOS energy storage systems and batteries one of the most popular in the caravan and boat industry in Europe. At the same time, our off grid systems provide independence from the poor power grid, diesel gensets and other sources. This has enabled us to reach key markets in rural areas in Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America with insufficient access to modern energy services.

Job description

This is what your work looks like

• Project management in embedded product development: steering development projects (hardware & embedded software) from concept phase to series production readiness
• Responsibility for timeline, budget, and quality in line with PEP and gate processes
• Scrum Master role: introduction, facilitation, and continuous improvement of agile methods (Scrum) within interdisciplinary teams
• Ensuring adherence to agile principles, coaching the team, and removing impediments
• Stakeholder management: acting as an interface between management, development, procurement, production, and external partners
• Regular communication of project status, risks, and measures
• Technical responsibility: supporting architecture decisions for embedded systems
• Ensuring compliance with standards (e.g., ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE) and internal quality guidelines

Profile

In order to keep moving forward

• Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or a comparable natural or engineering science field
• Several years of experience in project management and as a Scrum Master in embedded development
• Solid knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and classical project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Planner)
• Experience with embedded software architectures, hardware integration, and product development processes
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a structured way of working
• Very good German and English skills
